These three positions highlight my professional strengths and helped develop critical skills that I plan to use in the future.
Sales Developer (Express Employment)
As a sales developer at Express Employment, I was responsible for visiting various businesses in the greater Madison area. I was tasked with arranging meetings with managers to discuss employment needs. This position provided great insight into business negotiations, client relations, and quick, critical thinking. I was also able to begin building relationships with local business owners as a trustworthy source.
Assembler (Hoffman Manufacturing Corp)
As an assembler at the Hoffman Manufacturing Corporation, I was part of a small team, tasked with assembling industrial display cases. This position offered consistent practice with basic power tools and hands-on productivity. From this position I learned the importance of following procedure and attention to detail. Every aspect of the display cases required a very thorough and precise process. Lastly, this position revealed the importance of teamwork and communication, to produce product in a timely manner.
Warehouse Associate (Trek Bicycle Corporation)
During my time as a warehouse associate at the Trek Bicycle Corporation, I worked in the TCG department of the warehouse. I would pick and pack bike accessories (anything from jerseys to bike mounts). I would prep these packages for shipment, and was responsible for labeling the packages with proper stickers for packages with batteries or limited quantities. This position provided excellent insight into the entire distribution process.
